The Gulf states tried to get the British Navy to stay, but the British left anyway and the power vacuum was filled by Saddam. Great. The Gulf states want somebody there to keep the wasp nests from flaring up. It's all about oil since that is what they have.
Among other bizarre beliefs, this guy thinks the US Navy still has “a fleet of battleships.” He thinks enforcing immigration laws constitutes a “war on immigrants” and that enforcing drug laws is racist. And he calls the border fence with Mexico “The Berlin Wall.” Sounds like the worst kind of lefty liberal to me.
