I believe several FReepers said the winner was Thompson.
Thank God as I posted a few weeks ago I was praying that God would help Fred's candidacy and many Nitpickers raked me over the coals for making that prayer public.

I joined you in that. We need a strong real MAN for President. One who read Goldwater’s book the same time I did and with few exceptions stuck to conservative principles in his public life. He had no road to the Presidency conversions on key issues.
