Excuse me, but Christians aren't stupid. We know that Fred was exposing Huck's hypocrisy.

So what about Christians who disagree? They're stupid? What Fred is starting to flirt with is an anti-evangelical attitude.

Exactly - he needed to establish himself as a conservative. He would have done great if he attacked Huckabee’s fiscally liberal positions AND Giuliani’s social positions and then said that he was the only man on the stage that could pull the Reagan coalition back together. Instead, as a social conservative I felt like he was blaiming the split in the Republican party entirely on Evangelical Conservatives like myself.

I am not offended by the exposure of a liar. Yes, Virginia, Baptist (and all other denominations’) preachers can be liars, too. There was a Baptist preacher that lived beside us in our first house Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He didn’t stay there long. Seems he impregnated a choir member and had to resign.
