What a heroic, unassuming man. The world just got a little poorer for his passing.
Salute, Sir Ed.

Come on! Hillary’s parents named her after him because of his Bee Keeping exploits, then he happened to do some mountain thingy later.
To: NormsRevenge
BTW wouldnt it be great if a reporter asks her for a comment on his death since she was named after him? She would either have to correct the lie or lie again. most likely the latter.

Hillary Rodham Clinton Date of Birth: 26 October 1947
She was born before Sir Ed conquered the mountain and became famous. Clearly, she wasn't named after him.

"Edmund Hillary, first atop Everest, dies"
Meanwhile, at Clinton campaign headquarters, the following dialogue is taking place: HRC: Time for me to go on TV and express my sadness at the passing of my namesake and make sure the camera zooms in real close when I say "this...sniff...is...real...sniff...personal...for me...he was named after me...and now, he lost so many opportunities to climb more mountains...sniff...and I had so many...sniff opportunities...this is so hard...its hard to climb mountains...sniff, especially if you're a woman in politics..."

I wonder if, anywhere, a headline will be written: HILLARY DIES!
