I wonder how the MittBots are going to spin this one away ?
I do see how they could still support a trick, sleaze, lier like Mitt after this disgraceful trick.

Truly, a Huckabe “Truth File” would be most helpful before South Carolina! And even for some Michigan Freepers that need some help.

More evidence Romney is as underhanded a politician as Bill Clinton

So where is this 'evidence'?

Fred Thompson drop-out

Obviously true. Better look for a different candidate. Don't want to be accused of "not seeing the hand in front of our eyes", and become part of the irrelevant nut cases. FR has too many sharp minds for this.

[because of the poor campaign Fred has run]

I agree, I like Fred too but I’ve seen campaigns for a city council seat with more zest and energy.

[Mormans of a feather flock together]

That’s just what we need here on FR, religious bigotry. Thanks for improving this site.

So where is this 'evidence'?

The very story that started this thread -- that Romney spread false rumors about Thompson withdrawing. There is also reason to believe Romney fed Drudge the story about the DNC holding its fire against Huckabee because he was the easiest to beat. There is also reason to believe his supporters were giving out false information about the locations of the caucuses in Iowa.

The guy flip-flops and tells lies like Clinton and gives the same absurd explanations as Slick Willie did when caught in those lies.

It's a disgusting display of hypocrisy that some Republicans and conservatives could cover for this creep after ripping Clinton shreds for doing the same thing.

[most idiotic thing I have heard]

Pay closer attention, this board has become jam packed with hate speech and religious bigotry towards Romney.

Where’s the once most talked about subject which dominated this board and was the deciding factor in a politicians right to breath the same air us...ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION???

Is it because it is now being low balled because Hucklebee and McCain would be hurt by their views on this vital issue or is it because a man from the North with a scary religion doesn’t deserve credit for a solution to the problem.

don’t tell me you’ve been drinking the kool aid too? Mitt strong on illegal immigration? You’ve got to be kidding. Giuliani busted him over the illegals he had working at his mansion and his sons home too or are we conveniently forgetting what happened only weeks ago. Fred is one of the only ones tough one immigration besides Hunter.

BINGO.

I heard Romney's campaign manager in NH, a woman with a high voice, on a news panel after the primary. Her mantra was Mitt's the true conservative, he's the strongest conservative, ad nauseum. She said conservative at least 6 times in 5 sentences.

My thought was 'sayin' something don't make it so'.

No matter what Huckabee's former employment since he has no credibility, I don't believe him.

"If you tell a big enough lie, frequently enough, it becomes the truth"

That's Mitt's motto. He's a conservative. Massachusetts elects lots of them doncha know. /sarc

So he has come up with a solution for his family hiring illegals, for AP 'misquoting' him on liking Bush's amnesty plan, and for allowing sanctuary cities to flourish in Massachusetts?

No one here would doubt my closeness to the Romney campaign,

First of all, we have better things to do.

So, you finally admit you're part of the Romney campaign? You have no credibility after your repeated attempts to malign Fred. Sleaze oozes from Camp Romney!

Either you don’t know what you’re talking about, or your use of vocabulary is so elastic as to make effective communication impossible.

You actually read his spam?? I consider it about as useful as a Viagra email.

The very story that started this thread --

You consider an accusation to be 'evidence'? This is a perfect example of 'begging the question' - a rather weak method of non-rational persuasion.

There is also reason to believe Romney fed Drudge the story about the DNC holding its fire against Huckabee because he was the easiest to beat.

The DNC did hold its fire against Huck. That is a fact - not mere rhetoric.

There is also reason to believe his supporters were giving out false information about the locations of the caucuses in Iowa.

More unsubstantiated allegations on top of old ones? Nice.

Ain’t no different then being continuously referred to as an “Evangelical”

Face it. Political profiling and religous profiling are a fact of life. Only the wussies complain about it. Everyone else carrys on.

I haven’t heard but one Republican offer real solutions to ANY of the problems facing America.
None of the others are brave enough to tackle substance.
Who has mentioned fixing Social Security? Who has mentioned REAL, workable TAX reform? Fred Thompson

Who tries to bring up issues in debates beyond debating negative ads? Who gives us the same ol bronx cheer for change?? All the others. Except I do have to give credit to Rudy. At least he seems believable.

Romney has not convinced me he is any different then the rest of them on illegal immigration. They even do his lawn work.
