Yes, get out, damn you! You're reminding the Republicans that they have forgotten all about conserving the Constitution. They can't hear that treasonous talk because they've got big spending plans ahead! There are evangelical votes to buy with promises of a new Inquisition, and redneck yahoos to impress by buying ten new aircraft carriers and talking "tough on terror!"
(But just make sure you don't dare to notice that they really don't take terrorism seriously at all, because they've left the back door open to terrorists and anybody else who wants to walk right in as long as there is some chance they will help keep the consumer economy afloat...)
So enough of this Constitutionalist garbage, Ron Paul! We can't afford freedom right now, because EastAsia has sworn to destroy us! So just get out! ;)
David Duke ran on the platform of limited government and returning to Constitutional values, heck, he even disavowed racism, but didn’t mean the Republicna party had to accept him. If Paul was only about Constitutional values and limited government, we wouldn’t have a problem with him.
Remember, Fred Phelps talks about the bible and Christianity all the time, doesn’t mean you want him at your church.
The political right equates freedom with national greatness brought about through military strength. Like the left, modern conservatives favor an all-powerful central state-- but for militarism, corporatism, and faith-based welfarism. Unlike the Taft-Goldwater conservatives of yesteryear, todays Republicans are eager to expand government spending, increase the federal police apparatus, and intervene militarily around the world. The last tenuous links between conservatives and support for smaller government have been severed. Conservatism, which once meant respect for tradition and distrust of active government, has transformed into big-government utopian grandiosity. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/articles/161/what-does-freedom-really-mean/
Americania has always been at war with EastAsia.
I did not see any complaint in the OP regarding Ron Paul's view on the Constitution...you're just utilizing a straw man argument, which shows your dishonesty. You are just providing further evidence that when it comes to Ron Paul supporters, integrity is not a prerequisite.
