We have to be very careful here. We're discussing the seedy underbelly of human existence. The last thing we should want to have happen is the implication that through his Republicanism, any individual's penchant for racism or antisemitism lends credence to Republican acceptance.
There are two schools of thought on Ron Paul. That's fine. As far as I'm concerned, that's what forums like this are for. But never should we allow our disagreements to inflict damage on Republicanism or the Republican Party. The purpose of this thread is to bring up how Ron Paul himself 'may' have done such damage. Regardless of whether true or not, we should not add to that.
You might be, or at least want it to appear that we are. I'm discussing the difference between being a Republican (partisan politics) and being a republican (political philosophy).
