Leave. Just go.
Mr. Paul, you are NOT a Republican. You may have views that intersect with some aspects of the Republican platform. That does NOT make you a Republican.
The Republican Party is a big tent movement. We don't apply nearly the same strictness when it comes to tests of ideological purity as the Democrats do, but we still have some standards. And you, sir, do not even come close to meeting them.
People who blame America for the acts of war made against it are not Republicans.
People who think that we blew up our own buildings on 9/11...or who hint that we might have...or who attract the support of people with such beliefs...are not Republicans.
People who may be receiving secret funding from George Soros...and who certainly receive energy and succor from radical leftists...are not Republicans.
People who have become the darling of, and the recipient of support from, America's neo-Nazis and white supremacists---and who refuse to openly repudiate that support---are not Republicans.
And people who publish racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-American newsletters...are not Republicans.
Oh, and your protestations of innocence regarding this racist, anti-Semitic, anti-American newsletter to which you attached your name are absurd. As Jonah Goldberg said yesterday on the Michael Medved show, if...

Reagan was a dramatic failure regarding illegal immigration.
I’m not sure what Paul said he failed at though, could you post a link or just explain it really quick? I honestly would like to know because my understanding up to now has been that Paul was a major player in his ascent to power back in ‘76 & ‘80.
Strom Thurman changed his beliefs over time. From Wikipedia: "In the 1970s, Thurmond endorsed racial integration earlier than many other southern politicians.[citation needed] He also hired African American staffers, enrolled his white daughter in an integrated public school, and supported black nominees for federal judgeships.[citation needed] The Washington Post reported that a Thurmond staffer advised him to abandon his segregationist views after one of his proteges, Congressman Albert Watson, was badly defeated in a race for governor of South Carolina.[citation needed] Thurmond would also support extension of the Voting Rights Act and making the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. a federal holiday.[2] However, he never explicitly renounced his earlier views on racial segregation.[6][3]"
The Republican Party has never endorsed racism. And this is what I was addressing. Baiting me won't get you anywhere.
Of all the people who’ve told me they’re not voting for Ron Paul, only ONE (and I mean, literally, ONE) person did it without waving their arms around, screaming that he’s part of a conspiracy to surrender America to Iran and shrieking that all the donations are fake and are really from Soros’ bank account...
...it was a libertarian who won’t vote for Paul because he’s pro-life and against amnesty.
EVERY anti-Ron Paul person I’ve come across is at least twice as angry, nutty and irrational as the people they’re complaining about, and I’m not trying to be funny there. They remind me of the DUers who sneer about Christians clinging to discredited beliefs and being intolerant of others.
I'd say you have this backwards.
One would have to look at the context. Is this the poster's remark? If so, it's of no value. If it's a remark taken from a Paul apologist, it would have more value. What's far more interesting is the balance of the quote: "Dr. Paul takes full responsibility, as he has for over a decade, for failing to adequately monitor the words that went out under his name.
First, it admits failure. Second, it admits failure over an extended period of time. Unbelievable! Beyond that, those words not only appeared under his name but above his signature.
To be fair, some of the Rudy people turned out to be Clown Posse scumbags, who would certainly qualify as infiltrators.
Message to Supporters January 8, 2008 Today, as New Hampshire voters headed to the polls, The New Republic published an article carefully timed to hurt Ron Paul. This article rehashes an old issue of quotations from newsletters published under Dr. Paul's name, but not edited by him. Dr. Paul takes full responsibility, as he has for over a decade, for failing to adequately monitor the words that went out under his name. You and I know that Dr. Paul's message of freedom is about individual liberty, and that liberty is the best antidote to racism. If anyone has doubts, I would encourage them to read Dr. Paul's issue page on racism. Dr. Paul's response to the article is posted here. As you would expect, Congressman Paul denounces racism and embraces instead, the hopeful message of freedom -- the message he has championed for decades. Sincerely, Kent Snyder Chairman, Ron Paul 2008
It won't because of its dedication to militarism.
That has become the new litmus test for the GOP, not abortion, not taxes, not government spending, not the 2nd Amendment, but ones dedication to Wilsonian nation building under the guise of fighting terrorism.
This is the Progressive GOP of Teddy Roosvelt, not the Conservative GOP of Sen. Taft.
He wants the states to decide on drugs. If you oppose Roe v. Wade and also oppose Paul on this, you’re a hypocrite
Nanny Statists who claim to be conservatives = Hypcrites
You smacked me down on my spelling. I'm a grammar troll, not a spelling troll.
What's to gain?
The Republican candidates should, by rule, ignore Ron Paul, the Libertarian candidate, in a primary election.
LOL
Can you honestly tell me his site looks like it was set up by an adult? He uses HTML buttons for links! He'd be better off having the timecube.com guy do his site.
Could you please link me up on that? That would definitely be a black mark on Paul's record.
and the war against drugs ended.
The federal War on Drugs is unconstitutional. The states should set their own policies as they should with education, abortion, etc.
Well, then it certainly has value. "newsletters published under Dr. Paul's name, but not edited by him." It again begs the issue; how can a sitting congressman be so willfully ignorant about such publications? How can a sitting congressman not take action against people who are misrepresenting his views? How can a sitting congressman expect to aspire to the presidency with such baggage?
Uh, we have a spell checker. And 'Godd' would have been caught. So, if you're so intolerant of other's grammar, how can you be so tolerant of your inability to use an available spell checker?
Militarism? Good grief. We saved the world in WWII, we bnakrupted the USSR freeing millions from enslavement and we just ended two global jihad regimes, and we are militarists?
The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims.

The rest of your anti-Paul buddies seem to enjoy my posts. Perhaps your sense of humor generator is turned down too low on these threads. Now, SAY WHAT AGAIN!!!!!!
