If Hillary gets rid of one of the five FCC commissioners, and the replacement does her bidding in reinstating the fairness doctrine, what do you think anyone will be able to do about it? Sue her? Impeach her? No, she will have more power than you can ever believe. The Constitution and separation of powers will be turned on its head.

I understand what you’re saying, but you are forgetting the power of Congress. Mike Pence has a bill pending to shut off any attempt at the Fairness Doctrine restoration. If the Dims didn’t let it come up for a vote, we’d do the same as we did with shamnesty. And by the next election cycle, there would be a reckoning.

And, if you really think everyone who enjoys the Internet in all its grittiness will submit to invasions of privacy, censorship, and the like, I think you should reconsider that one. Heck, they couldn’t even get porn filtered out of public libraries.

I fully agree that the Clintons are as evil as they come and need to be denied the WH, but I’m going to wait and see if the Dims are so crazy as to make her their nominee, then I’ll make a final decision based on who the R nominee is. I just can’t think that McCain will go very far. I think Romney is more likely. I also think Obama will be the Dim nominee, because he really does seem to be generating a lot of excitement in many cases.

In any case, I’m keeping my powder dry and working to get a better choice than McCain.
