Celebrities like Chuck Norris and Arnold Schwarzenegger owe their fame and wealth to the millions of 12-year-old boys who paid hard earned lawn mowing money to see them on a Saturday afternoon. The rest of us though are not impressed, and quite frankly often bored by their cliche one-liners, predicatable physical feats, and other tedious antics.
I congratulate both guys on their entertainment success, but nothing in that path to fame demonstrates an ability to understand or offer advice on serious public policy matters.
Just goes to show, you might be able to kick all the butt in the world doesnt make you particularly smart, especially in the political area.
That applies to ALL actors, talk show hosts and ditzy entertainers. They should keep their pathetic political views to themselves, they don't live in the real world and haven't a clue what goes on in it.

You nailed it. I watched a two part episode of Walker Texas Ranger on USA this morning dealing with illegal immigration. First time I have really watched the show. I told my son “It’s like watching a cartoon.” Tedious antics is an understatement. It’s as if he said “I made a pile of money using this formula decades ago, no reason to change a thing. I give as much importance to his endorsement as I would to an endorsement by all the living cast members of Hee Haw, in other words....not much. But hey, if people like Chuck, more power to ‘em. I agree with you, stardom does not mean they are expert on anything beyond acting.
