To: Veto!

And in the Baptist church there are many, many preachers and pastors....far more than there are bishops in the Mormon religion.

The poster said s/he’d never vote for a rabbi, priest, preacher. I just wondered if s/he is consistent.

It sounds like if s/he will vote for a Mormon bishop but not a baptist pastor, then s/he just might be a bigot.

Golly, it's terrible to have religion mixed up in the electoral process. We might miss the best possible US president because we don't like his religion -- which we know little about in the first place. It's hard enough to find a candidate strong, smart and tough enough to lead the country out of the financial haze, keep jobs in America, contain terrorists, oversee some sort of international statecraft, and keep the illegals on their side of the border(s).

I'm perfectly willing to allow the next prez Sunday morning off (or Saturday night or whatever) to worship wherever and however he pleases. I'm not really entitled to an opinion about that. NOR, and this is very important, is he entitled to pass judgment on where when and how I worship.
