If I thought they could manipulate the polls, I’d say they did it.
Because what Hillary got was polls that showed her losing in double-digits to Obama.
That encouraged independents that they didn’t have to vote for Obama because he was going to crush her anyway, while the polls showed their other good buddy McCain was in trouble.
So they voted for McCain instead, he wins big, and Obama loses.
Hillary gets exactly what she needed — the Comeback award, a damaged Obama, and the two republican conservatives badly damaged before the real voting even starts.
There’s a reason Mitt tried to win the first 4 contests — because after that, it’s all Rudy. Why any candidate thought they could skip the first 3 contests and then crush Rudy afterwords, well we’ll see, if Romney can’t make it Fred Thompson damn well better get off his behind and actually convince someone to vote for him.
