I think Thompson probably has the firmest grasp of conservative philosophy. He is wise. He could be a great President. To help, one can offer money, time, and one’s vote. Let’s hope it happens. But it might not happen. Much the same applies to Hunter.
I think Romney is genuinely pro-market. Free markets are freedom. He also gets the threat of Islamic supremacy. He deserves credit for his balanced speech on religion in America. (The wife of the editor of the Washington Post did have a point: when lauding religion, he failed to laud atheism. Boo-hoo). He seems to be a good man, family man, businessman, and probably as able a governor as Massachusetts would ever accept or deserves. He’s come around on abortion. He’s smart, articulate, organized, has money (don’t scoff - we need it), and we could easily do far worse.
His religion is going to hurt him,big time.
His religion is going to hurt him,big time. His religion makes him unelectable and the fact he’s already labeled a flip flopper.Romney’s toast too.
