I don't like McCain at all but he is unfortunately polling well in the general election vs Obama and Hillary. I'll try to find some recent polls and link them.

But we can all see by tonight just how reliable those polls are. McCain or Huck will be creamed in a general election. The Indies will go for Dems then. And many of the Rep base will not support them.

State polls are a lot harder to get than national polls, especially with 4 to 7 different candidates (vs 2 real ones in the final one in November)
