The results are not making any sense.

Actually I think they do. All the pre election talk was of an Obahma blow out and the Republicans deadlocked.

So it looks that a lot of the Independents, who can vote in either primary, said "Well heck, my vote will not count in the Dems election so I will go vote for my boy John McCain."

That would explain this massive last second swing away from Obhama and towards McCain. It would also explain why Hillary is winning if a bunch of Obahma leaning independents went over to McCain

All the rest of the numbers are coming out right in line with the pre election polls. Huck at 12, Rudy and Paul duking it out for 4th at 9% and Fred at 1.

No Johnnie, the one thing that doesn’t match is the report that McCain leads powerfully with independents AND Republicans. That is completely contrary to polls.

You can make a case for the Obama independents switching to McCain, but that would not affect McCain’s results among the GOP. The pollsters would not have gotten that part wrong.

So . . . something else is amiss here. I doubt we have truly representative districts this early. We’ll see.
