“independent” is a liberal who’s to much of a coward to register “democrat.”

McAmnesty won’t win any place else in spite of the way the MSM will pimp him.

So all those elections that showed Saddam Hussein at 99%— couldn’t have been cheated?

Cheating can come at any margin.

The problem is that the fiscal conservatives will not support tax raising, wild spending, soft on crime, weak on national defense, entitlement expanding socons.

Looks like an irreconcilable siuation.

Hello, President Clinton/Obama.

Ok. Except that Fred’s SuperTuesday strategy shows him winning NOTHING and Rudy is winning some things.

Romney might be able to go all the way to the convention and win if he keeps racking up 2nd places while 1st place gets split by Rudy/Huckabee/McCain.

Not a constitutional requirement, but you probably wouldn't get past the Judiciary Committee.

I don't see Clinton having any problem getting through the committee though.

You could be at Disney World and if a bunch of New Englanders meet up at the Haunted mansion, the “Yankees Suck” cheer will start.

Big time shenanigans. Which is why I fear her most in the general election. She will pull out all the stops and cheat on an unprecedented scale.

There’s some dispute about that.

From Amendment 12:
But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

From Amendment 22:
1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

As I see it, he is ineligible to the office of President — even if you argue he can serve less than two years as Acting President, what if there is a vacancy in the first two years? There is no way to force him to resign — presumably the newly chosen Vice President and a majority of the cabinet could force him out at the end of two years, but I wouldn’t count on it. He could be impeached and convicted as well — but the Dems would argue it wasn’t a high crime or misdemeanor to illegally occupy the office of President.

I live in Michigan and have been literally bombarded by Romney literature: Dozens from Romney and ONE from Ron Paul. And tons of TV spots.

If Romney can’t carry the state where his father was a popular governor he’s pretty much done.
