baby boomer
–noun a person born during a baby boom, esp. one born in the U.S. between 1946 and 1965.
There are Boomers who grew up listening to the Beatles, and Boomers that grew up listening to New Order. They are culturally very different even though demographers lump them together as a group conceived when Americans actually had children. We import them now. The 2000’s will be remembered by history as the Salsa generation.
