You’ve been “offended” in quite a few threads related to this issue. I was under the impression that Islam was the perpetually “offended” religion, while so called Christians were of more stoic stock, some even preferring to “turn the other cheek” when faced with a perceived slight. Frankly, you’re starting to come off as some kind of fundie “Rage Boy” with this nonsense when you could easily avoid it by pursuing threads in support of your supposed favorite, Duncan, or his polar opposite,Huck.
Rush is not about to change the message he intends to send no matter how hard you stomp your feet and pout.
Your post-
“Look, he needs to be asking VOTERS, not evangelicals. It is just thoroughly insulting for him to advocate for Fred in this manner.”
My question-What do you intend to do about it when he does not?

Once they know more about Duncan Hunter...I think they will support him.Agreed. I would say that Hunter is the only one other than Huck that has a chance with the Christians.

Me too! I just finished listening to Rush’s show for today as I was away from home during his showtime. Rush does not come right out and endorse. I don’t think he will, but then he might when it gets down to say Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney. Back in 2000 when it got down to Bush and McCain, Rush did let it be known that he favored Bush. If anyone has been listening to Rush for the past several weeks, it has been obvious whom he favors. It is Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney. Having said that, I do believe if he had to choose one of them, it would certainly be Fred Thompson!
GO FRED!

You need to get off of your ass______umption about Baptist/Evangelicals, until you are one.
I certainly take that offensively!!!!!
I’m smart enough to make up my own mind. I’m a back row BAPTIST all the way.
Was Jim Jones a bapist? How many were misled by him.
THINK ABOUT IT? You are talking about something you don’t know a thing about! And you certainly got my dander up, insinuating I’m (and alot of other people) too stupid to know the difference of being fed a line and the truth.

“If Huckabee is the GOP nominee, many of those in other factions will stay home on election day. And there’s not much you or I can do about it. It’s the Law of Coalitions. Violate it at your peril”
Could not have said it better! Amen!

You know for a fact Thompson does not follow the tenants of his faith? Please enumerate them, careful it might sound like the 80% of evangelicals that are supporting Huck.
To: sourcery
Most of the other factions find Huckabee completely unacceptable. We need to find a candidate who unites us, not one who divides us.That will be Duncan Hunter

You know for a fact Thompson does not follow the tenants of his faith? What makes you think Huck does? He lied about the bookshelf cross. Is that following the tenants of his faith?
To: RockyMtnMan
Oh oops. I didn’t read your post in context.
But I still made a wonderful point, didn’t I? lol.

I trust Huckabee as much as I trust the Clintons!
I think there is something in the water in Arkansas and it isn't truth serum.

If Huckabee is the GOP nominee, many of those in other factions will stay home on election day. And there's not much you or I can do about it.BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! The thing with irony is that it is so ironic.
Do the Christians get to pelt the rest with rocks and garbage for "staying home"?

Do the Christians get to pelt the rest with rocks and garbage for "staying home"?What would Jesus do?

Here's a thought:
If Huckabee was elected, his faith isn't the thing that would cause a problem for that group of home school parents.
It's his politics. He's against school vouchers for one.
