TALK OF HILLARY EXIT ENGULFS CAMPAIGNS Mon Jan 07 2008 09:46:28 ET

Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!

"She can't take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada," laments one top campaign insider. "If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn't want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."

Meanwhile, Democrat hopeful John Edwards has confided to senior staff that he is staying in the race because Hillary "could soon be out."

Key players in Clinton's inner circle are said to be split. James Carville is urging her to fight it out through at least February and Super Tuesday, where she has a shot at thwarting Barack Obama in a big state. But others close to the former first lady now see no possible road to victory, sources claim.

When she does pull out,,,I've got a great idea for a spoof/parody of that Coors commercial that they play during the NFL games (if anyone is youtube savvy) with the black coach so upset about losing.

Setting: News Conference, with Bill Clinton sitting behind a desk taking questions about Hillary withdrawing.

MSM: "Did Obama, Edwards and Richardson do anything that surprised you during the campaign"?

Slick (visibly upset, emotional, and really pi**ed off): "THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE"!!!

MSM: "Well, who did you think they were"?

Slick: "THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE"?

MSM: "Then why did you lose"?

Slick (again emotional and even more angry): "WE LET "EM OFF THE HOOK"!!!!!

MSM (pointing out that Obama just left with several women following): "Obama just went THAT WAY with the chicks"!!!

Slick (says nothing but leaves angrily in that direction)

MSM: "OBAMA IS TOAST"!!!!

As long as they don’t compromise and run Edwards, I’ll feel good about 2008.

Hey, Barack Hussein has very limited experience and a whole host of questions about his involvement with islam and other issues that he will get hammered with. The thing is, the Clintons can’t use them as it will offend all dems that they need to win. It is almost too good to be true.

“Friday was the worst show...I was in a funk,” says Rush.
He was off his feed two days before that.
Seeing Mike Huckabee’s rise and his win in Iowa, can do that to a person.

If she really does have the super delegates sown up and if they represent 40% of the votes, is she not still a force to reckon with?

If true i am torn
i love seeing Hillary lose but i am afraid she is losing too early
i would prefer to see her lose to the R nominee and have some coat tails to effect some house races
Obama may be more formidable than her in a general election campaign *shudder*

From your lips to God’s ears , if the MSM really turns on her, she is done... I wouldn’t hold my breath though, they have carried the Clinton water for years...

Mara, of Brit’s Panel, thought that Mrs. Clinton was “just adorable” during that act.

Rush just played a clip of Mrs. Clinton’s best friend Andrea Mitchell saying that Clinton Inc. was packing the crowds this weekend...lots of folks from NY.

We are approaching a period in which the Clintons are at their most dangerous now. Approach any bodies very slowly, especially the Beast’s.

Now Hillary is throwing out all stops. She is using the subtle reference to old racial terms like 'spade' to suggest Obama hasn't done his time.

Obama is lucky he isn't Jewish, ala FJB.

If this is true, this is indeed a happy day!

Not really. Obama's even crazier than Hilary, but harder to beat. Of the few times when he's bothered to cast a vote, he's voted in favor of partial-birth abortion (which even Boxer opposed), forbidding interntet filters for school libraries, and in favor of allowing porn video stores within several blocks of gov't schools. But soccer moms love his platitudes.
