Data Bomb(how George Soros skewed the Lancet Study)
National Journal ^ | January 4th | Neil Munro and Carl M. Cannon

Over the past several months, National Journal has examined the 2006 Lancet article, and another [PDF] that some of the same authors published in 2004; probed the problems of estimating wartime mortality rates; and interviewed the authors and their critics. NJ has identified potential problems with the research that fall under three broad headings: 1) possible flaws in the design and execution of the study; 2) a lack of transparency in the data, which has raised suspicions of fraud; and 3) political preferences held by the authors and the funders, which include George Soros's Open Society Institute.

I was in a major word war with some liberal sheep on the now defunct Yahoo message boards when the Lancet “study” came out.

Man I wish I could’ve shoved this in his face. lol

"I think that's when I fully understood the need to step beyond peer-review journals and statistical analyses if you are going to do effective public health work in times of war," Roberts explained in a recent interview with a Belgian-based publication.

I see. Facts don't really matter, then.

The press has always engaged in political propaganda, the difference is that now they don’t even attempt to disguise it or to make any attempt to present it as facts.

Facts don’t matter, its how you feel about it.

The Lancet traded its credibility for the opportunity to affect the U.S. election. A science journal without credibility is a waste of trees.

“...or to make any attempt to present it as facts.”

Actually, I didn’t. There was a time that the press went to some effort to convince their readers that was was untrue was true. They no longer bother. Whatever they say becomes true because they have said it and any who challenge them are deniers.
