Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam

His church’s Trumpet magazine currently sports a front page photo of, and announcing an interview with, “The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.”

Obama’s pastor Jeremiah Wright has this to say about Israel -

“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for almost 40 years now. It took a divestment campaign to wake the business community up concerning the South Africa issue. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community up and to wake Americans up concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.

“The Divestment issue will hit the floor during this month’s General Synod. Divesting dollars from businesses and banks that do business with Israel is the new strategy being proposed to wake the world up concerning the racism of Zionism. Illegal occupation and racist Zionism. Let’s not forget that the entire UCC supports divestment.

And how is that not relevant? Isn't it a major security threat, either way he goes?

I guess my feeling is that while obviously I woulnd't vote for Obama, the opinion of terrorists isn't something I'd consider in my decision. We can't let jihadists dictate anything to us. Besides, they hate Christian Presidents just as much.

It's also possible that organized jihadists aren't stupid, and would recognize that even an apostate could be sympathetic to their positions. I suspect that's the position most Islamic states would take. I'd expect the Saudis to be pleased.

One of his health problems was a failing liver. “He loved drinking, was a smart and warm person, the naughtiest one in the family,” Trisulo recalled.

Bad Muslims can be good people.

All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed. Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.

Frankly, that would be the Muslim world's problem, not ours. It almost makes me want to vote for the guy.

I happen to have over 20 cousins on the South and West side of Chicago (including a few who worked with Obama back in the day until they saw him clearer, in other words... he wasn’t really about the community, that’s all i’m saying); I know the NOI deals with Wright’s church. For goodness sakes Rev. Wright gave the lifetime achievement award to Farrakhan last year at the Trumpet Awards (big deal elsewhere, maybe not here).

It's my impression that there's a lot to be found in his time in Chicago, plenty in his Springfield voting record. I'm curious what he had to say in his primary run against black panther Bobby Rush a few years back. If he's the nominee there will be no shortage of issues.

I don't see it as much of an election issue, either, for two main reasons: 1. If we're going to talk religion, Obama's current church is enough of an issue, with racism, black separatism and class warfare getting mixed in thi the Gospel.

2. This huy is already so bad that I wouldn't be any more worried about him as President if he were a Raelian...and I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher even if he were a member of my church.

I don't either, but it's down the list of political issues since you can't really establish that. I think the Church issue is a bigger problem, and one that can be factually extablished. Of course none of it matters unless he wins the nomination.

Does it not bother you that the Muslims are not calling him an apostate? For many, it is grounds for the mark of death.

Sorry, that troubles me. The only religion I would not except is Islam. They are warring with us.

A strong possibility is that they do not call him apostate because their leaders know he is not.

Consider the possibility that he is still a muslim and is merely deceiving the unbelievers into thinking he is a Christian. This is a honored muslim tactic.
