Somehow, I had always imagined that the first American of African descent elected to the US Presidency would have been a Republican, which would have brought the issue of the Civil War to a full circle and closed.
Maybe not....
Would have LOVED JC Watts to run for President! Where did he go? Did he get disgusted by the Republican elitists?
