Look at the electoral calendars of other far left candidates. McGovern and Mondale come to mind. He is FAR left. FAR left. We need a candidate that can campaign, communicate effectively, is appealing to Reagan Democrats (fiscally conservative, small government message) that can win back some of the folks turned off by the GOP right now. It also helps if Obama had a longer fight with Hillary, otherwise he has the advantage of moderating this spring before our candidate is chosen to start positioning him rightfully as a leftist.
