Fred and McCain are hardly saying anything. Perhaps that’s a good strategy... let the others step in it. Huck already has. Mitt just did.

Commercial. Turned it on am watching.

Mitch is wrong. If you have assets, you will pay the bill for your health care or suffer the consequences. I was uninsurable. Finally got a catastrophic, but for years had none. $5000 surgery plus overall. Paid off about $1000 of $3000 for one procedure, then didn't pay the rest fast enough to suit the hospital so they turned it over to a collection agency. I finally paid because I didn't want my credit ruined. The first collection agency wanted cash, I didn't want to haul that much cash to them so let it go longer.

It WAS my responsibility. But if Mitch thinks you can have money, not get health insurance, and need treatment, in MY state, he is wrong. We already have to pay if uninsured for years now. The poor and indigent get the free ride, not anybody with assets, there was a state program you can't count on for help, sliding fee scale. I had too much money in my savings & checking, about $2000, spend it down, then we'll help. And I didn't make no $75,000 a year.

I agree with Giuliani that we have good care because it is private though. Now I'm on Medicare. It doesn't pay everything, but the govt does pay. Until they decide I am not worth it.

Going to watch some more. Good to see the candidates out there like that.
