Boy, Obama and Edwards love each other.
Charley is doing pretty well.... much better than CNN
I went to dinner instead of watching, who won?
I was more impressed with Rudy than previously.
John McLame's whining about "greenhouse gases" guaranteed my vote against him. Ron Paul was an anti-American kook.
Huckabee did nothing to make me see why he won Iowa. I will not vote for him.
I still remain undecided between Fred and Mitt. I think both made good points.
Is this another one of those ways of leaking future events, than a few days later Fred drops out!
Have we not watch this same method employ for many years now plant the seed so the public can mill it around.
Isn’t the same MO so&so have been let go, and the powers to be deny it, but than a few days later it really was true!
I only watched part of the GOP debate.
I came in during the Immigration discussion and watched until the end. I didn’t stick around for the Dems.
Couple of thoughts:
-When McCain made the crack about Romney being about “change”, it reminded me of Bob Dole’s barb to Bush in 88: “STOP LYING ABOUT MY RECORD!”. I’d like to see Frank Luntz’s “dial” machine when McCain made that crack.
-Romney, Thompson and Rudy all seemed fine. (They’re my first, second, and third choices for President, respectively.)
-I can’t stand Huckabee, but I thought he came across well. I saw a glimpse of what people like about him. If I was completely ignorant of anything outside this debate, I could even say he seemed “Presidential”.
-Ron Paul just takes up space.

Thompson sounded good. McCain complained about the health care and insurance companies. Romney won some brownie points with me by saying we had the best health care, and that the companies were not the bad guys here. He talked up the people and companies that take care of our health and alleviate pain. That resonates with me. I’m sick of blaming the private sector, be it oil, health, insurance, airlines or anything else. Huckabee played the “smart liberal” by providing the simplistic “answer” that we take care of health problems once they occur but do not maintain health. I’ve heard that one before - who hasn’t? If you want maintain your health, go for a walk or jog tomorrow. Don’t expect my tax dollars to do it for you.
My cat uncharacteristically shredded the toilet paper. He must be sick of these debates.
