I'll pose the same question. If it's that good, why are we still using narcotics? If addiction to narcotics is that bad, and the risk so great as to justify the kind of government action that is taking place, and if these other treatments are so good and so readily available, why are we still using narcotics?
The answers aren't lining up with reality.
I’m all for giving people whatever they need to manage pain — including narcotics, where appropriate.
It seems to me (in my capacity as a complete layman) that it’s good to have as many alternative treatments as possible — one doesn’t have to displace the other.
