You’ve been spamming so much that I didn’t notice it. I’d probably vote for the Jewish conservative over the Christian liberal with the caveat that in a period of tensions with Muslims that could bollix up any pretense we have of being an honest broker in the Mideast. I say probably because I don't know these two imaginary candidates -- since they are imaginary.

However, all this is irrelevant. You showed me that this discussion wasn’t worth the time when you said you’d vote for a scientologist for President.

Jimmy Carter is not imaginary. He was the worst President of our lifetimes. He got into office because enough evangelical voters thought “Sothern Baptist” meant “good” and ignored the many other red flags about this man.

It was dumb narrow-minded voting behavior like that which gets bad people elected.

Reagan is not imaginary. he was not better than Carter because he was more Christian, he was better because he was a real leader and a real conservative - for tax cuts, strong military and personal responsibility.

“However, all this is irrelevant.”
Your use of a religious litmus test is what should be irrelevant. It’s not that I would vote for any particular sect - it’s that I would vote for the REAGAN over the CARTER every time, irrespective of his denomination.

Completely agree. For those who are asking the question "Christian or Jew", they are comparing apples and oranges. Comparing Christianity and Mormonism is comparing an apple and an apple with a worm in it.
