“An estimated 220,000 Democrats showed up at caucus sites... about 114,000 Republicans turned out.”

Ominous.

yeah, that caught my eye too. Considering the loosey-goosey rules for who can vote in an Iowa caucus, methinks a lot of Obama voters were bused in from Chicago.

Good luck getting those under-25s to actually vote in a real election, B. Hussein.

Hope so.

Here's another thought: if the Obama , or Edwards win the nomination, what will Bill'n Hill do?

It's hard for me to imagine them cooperating with the party that rejects them. I would expect them to undermine the Dims in the general election, to set themselves up for another bid in four years. Bitterness would fuel some of this, but strategy would be the main impetus.

In the meantime, Herself could work on her elocution; she'd even have time for corrective surgery.

a record turnout of voters who rejected the criticism that he did not have enough experience.
...to which one of Hillary's official or unofficial spinmeisters could reply, "this is clearly a good sign that voters won't reject Senator Clinton in the fall of 2008." :'D Thanks neverdem.

Mike Huckabee is Pat Buchanan in sheep's clothes.

IMO, Huckabee looks like Richard Nixon. He reminds me of a slimy Dick Nixon. I don't buy his "aw shucks" routine. I'm not going to vote for Huckabee even if he gets the Republican nomination. He'll say anything to get elected. The Republican establishment better get it together if they want my vote.

"An estimated 220,000 Democrats showed up at caucus sites, compared to 124,000 in 2004. About 114,000 Republicans turned out. The last contested Republican caucuses in 2000 drew about 88,000."

Considering most of Obama's support comes from mainly youth, I wonder how many votes came from Moveon.org, etc. out of state?

We should be so lucky as to see Obama as their candidate. If you had only seen and heard the response from the DIE HARD Rats I work with!ALL WHITE, and EVERY LAST ONE said they would rather stay home then vote for and I quote, that n**** rag-head, end quote!I`ve always said how racist the Rat core is,the blacks hate the hispanics and whites, the hispanics hate the blacks and whites, and the whites hate blacks and hispanics!I`ve lived around all colors and the only thing that binds them, other than their mutual stupidity,is their visceral hatred of each other.I really believe this is the wedge that could drive the blue collar white rats away from this election.

Yeah, that's about what I hear from Kennedy Democrats in Massachusetts.

Forget Cadillac Duval for a minute and remember BUSING. The liberal chickens will come home to roost.

I think their worst ticket would be Obama/Clinton.That *itch has such negatives she`d bring out our base no matter who ran on our ticket.
