This could get very bad for Romney. If this is even seemingly true, a last minute “dirty trick” is not what your campaign wants to be all over the news a couple of hours before the caucus starts.

If this gains traction in the next couple of hours, it’s absolutely unpredictable as to what will happen tonight.

It won’t make much difference for Willard at this late hour.

His automotonic sleaze army will still win the organizational battle on the ground in Iowa.

What is horrible is that someone saw fit to plant the false story last night. They have been doing this since last week. It is the media talking points someone has been feeding the news channels while McCain is being talked up Fred who has maintained or gained has been continued talked about as dropping out. I’m tired of it. What is wrong with the party of Reagan?

Agree, if this catches fire it could be a pre-caucus "dean scream" moment for Willard.

That's for sure. If it was a Romney campaign staffer, and Romney didn't know about it, he should do worse than fire the staffer. I think legal action would make it clear that Romney himself was innocent.
