Well, for one thing, I will vote against any cult member. That’s number one. Secondly, I’ll vote against any non-Christian — that will take care of your “Muslim in office” (in your example). And so, that leaves a large group of Evangelicals looking for the GOP to put forth a good Christian candidate. Let’s hope that the GOP doesn’t try to work against the Evangelicals — or else — they will simply shoot themselves in the foot... [now.., whose fault will that be?]
Do you believe Thompson’s profession of faith?
When have evangelicals not gotten the nominee they preferred?
Who and what year?
“Lets hope that the GOP doesnt try to work against the Evangelicals or else they will simply shoot themselves in the foot... [now.., whose fault will that be?]”
I will now be working against a certain kind of Evangelical, the kind that voted for the Huckster. It is these Evangelicals who have now shot themselves in their own feet. The worm will turn in the other states. Not all states are chock full of Evangelicals of the Rick Warren/Joel Osteen type. A corn cob has more intelligence than these religious and IMO bigoted johnny-one-notes.
