Well, and he (Huck) is for the Human Life Amendment.

So we would get a candidate who is no more pro-life than several others because he supports an amendment that he cannot pass, cannot introduce, cannot sign. You do understand that the President doesn't have a role in amending the Constitution, don't you? Talk about style over substance!

I agree with your analysis of the Hucksters. They do not understand the Constitution. It is more than the Bill of Rights. It also codifies the various rolls of the three branches of government. Huck is running for the Senate.

Acutally, any possibility I might have ever supported Fred Thompson (and he was my second favorite prior to this) was nullified by your fellow FredHead in in this post.

I have always made an effort to treat others with dignity and respect, even in disagreement, and will disassociate myself as far as possible from this sort of thing. While there are some good folks for your guy, there is simply too much of this type of thing among the Fred Thompson supporters I've encountered. I've sent a mass-email - twice - to my fellow Hunter supporters in past months to exhort against this exact behavior.
