I've been called a lot of things on here, but I don't think misogynist is one of them and I think that most of my FRiends on here would probably disagree with you on that one.

I see that you are new around here, so I will give you a little background on this thread and others like it. We are totally committed to preserving Terri Schiavo's legacy that ensures the sanctity of life from the moment of conception to natural death. We seek to expose the culture of death and their evil agenda. On occasion, myself and others have been known to make some "off color" remarks and I think if you were to look at what I said in the context of the post I was responding to. If you need some visual validation, I suggest that you go to a local mall some weekend and look at the style of dress and mannerisms of the young "ladies" parading around; if you would like to suggest a more appropriate designation, I'd be happy to consider it.

Sorry, I don't intend to get into a disagreement with you, but I stand by my belief that calling a large group of women "sluts" and "stupid" because they make birth control decisions which you don't like is misogynistic. It reveals an attitude of paternalistic dislike for them, and one that is so deeply ingrained that the misogynist is probably unaware of it; it's been part of him so long and runs so deep that he believes that's "just the way things are".

If I've misapprehended you, I beg your pardon. Even so I would ask you to reconsider such blanket judgements, if for no other reason than they easily give a casual reader the impression which they gave me.
