DES MOINES — A group protesting the Iraq war at Democrat Barack Obama’s Iowa headquarters was arrested Wednesday afternoon after they refused to leave.
Obama campaign spokesman Josh Earnest said the group was in the headquarters for about 90 minutes and he believed the group had been doing similar sit-ins at other campaign offices.
“They basically just sort of came into the front office and were talking loudly and being disruptive,” Earnest said.
Earnest described the number of people arrested as a “small group.”
More information from the Des Moines police department was not immediately available.
This is amazing. If these anti-american traitors protest in a recruiting office, republican’s office, in front of a memorial etc., nothing happens. Free speech don’t cha know. But protest hussein obama, go to jail. Amazing. Spit.
