Not really. No more idealistic than thinking a guy went from the mid 20s to the low teens over the last few months in national polls has a chance.
I’m not grasping on to straws. There’s a big difference from 1% and 13%. One could happen (rough likelyhood), and the other is nearly impossible.
So you are like me, hoping for the best. Might not get it, though.
I was practicing autorotations today. It’s when you remove engine power to your main rotor (in a helicopter). Flying a helicopter is about being practical and doing what’s necessary to fly. If you lose RPM’s on your main rotor past 80%, you’re probably dead...if your 97% and above...your likely going to survive.
You my friend are hoping for 80%, and shunning 96%. That’s the kind of pilot I wouldn’t want to fly with.
