Please tell me your next post will be: "I was being sarcastic."

The dog served a useful purpose, the criminal didn't. Now the taxpayers have to warehouse this piece of human refuse. My original statement stands.

So let me get this straight... The guy was suspected of being drunk and was pursued by cops where he got into an accident.

So the drunk guy serves no useful purpose but the dog does?

The dog is a tool of the police, the same as the cop’s flashlight or gun or radar detector, period. It’s just an animal, and if the perp had been giving it treats, it would have went after the cop.

You put an animal’s life above a person? How weird...
