“Lets face it, relatively speaking McCain is preferable to Romney, Huck or Giuliani.”
Howdya figure?
Mainly electability. McCain has very broad cross-over appeal, putting states like MI, WI and NH in play in the general election. In my estimation, he’s also more conservative than Romney, Huck or Giuliani. Though McCain voted against tax cuts, he’s a spending stalwart; he won’t be as profligate as Bush has been with the federal treasury.
Romney is the ultimate, opportunistic flip-flopper (giving JF Kerry a good run for his (wife’s) money). Huck has a ton of defects, the first of which is his shameless use of religion to attract primary voters. For Giuliani, just three words: Comedy of errors.
