That's Bill Kristol ,Fox commentator , editor of the the Murdochian agitprop factory Weekly Standard, George W. Bush's propagandist in chief, co-founder of the Project for a New American Century, relentless promoter of the war in Iraq , ideological bully and thug.Katha really had to stroke her thesaurus to come up with that line.

The post-Watergate Democrat Congress refused to resists the North's final invasion and millions were slaughtered at the hands of the Khmer Rouge.
All they had to do was agree to Ford's request for weapons and supplies and the South could have held on.
The blood of millions is on their hands, forever and ever.

“Why do I think those phone calls will not be coming any time soon?”
Because you were embarrassed that your daughter wanted to hang an American flag after 9/11.
Enough said.

Thats why these people, if they ever get in total control, will literally squelch all free speech. Today Liberalism in newspapers and colleges has much in common with the Taliban. They're against FREE SPEECH too.

Still no reason to waste your time or money on the New York Slimes.

What this hire demonstrates is how successfully the right has intimidated the mainstream media. Their constant demonizing of the New York Times as the tool of the liberal elite worked. (Maybe it also demonstrates that the people in charge of the decision aren't so liberal.) I think it demonstrates that someone looked at a graph of the Times' annual circulation figures and saw it plunging into bankruptcy unless they change their ways.

Sam Tanenhaus is an anti-Communist moderate. Bill Kristol is a neocon (actually as a Kristol, he is a member of one of the two main neocon families).
There are still no serious conservatives who would upset the Boston, NY, DC axis.
