So finally he’s admitted what anyone looking at him honestly has known from day one.

Your a day late and a dollar short.
The quote was ripped out of context.
Thompson said he doesn’t like the styles of campaigns today and the power-lust, but he wants to serve the country as president. His comments show levelheadedness and modesty.

Anyone who is licking at the chops to be the President of the US is either a power crazed delusional narcissist/masochist or is fulfilling some hidden obligation to someone....Some of the Dems could probably qualify for both.
I find it very refreshing that we asked him to be President and he is not doing a desperate sell job on us.

What A country. Even with your reading disabilities you are still allowed to post on Free Republic. You should be proud. And maybe sign up for some remedial reading classes. This country allows many education opportunities for adults who are mentally challenged.

Um, no.
These are half-quotes, so innaccurate and out of context, the National Review did an article on the dishonesty of the reporting.

HamiltonJay, after reading this thread, I’ve determined that you “stepped in it” without first donning your asbestos suit.
