Ann Coulter understands the difference:
I do want to point out one thing that has been driving me crazy with the media -- how they keep describing Mitt Romney's position as being pro-gays, and that's going to upset the right wingers. Well, you know, screw you! I'm not anti-gay. We're against gay marriage. I don't want gays to be discriminated against.
I don't know why all gays aren't Republican. I think we have the pro-gay positions, which is anti-crime and for tax cuts. Gays make a lot of money and they're victims of crime. No, they are! They should be with us. ~~ Ann Coulter
ANN COULTER from the Glenn Beck interview:
I think the Republicans, we have a choice between Rudy Giuliani and Romney, and with Giuliani struggling to get to the right of Hillary on the social issues, I certainly have a preference there.
Ann is absolutely right.
From an earlier Hannity & Colmes..... Ann threw her support to Mitt Romney for President:

One great example of someone who knows this issue and supports Mitt is Mary Ann Glendon. She was on Mitt's team before Pres. Bush chose her as his ambassador to the Vatican.
In 1994, Pope John Paul II appointed Glendon to the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. In 2004, Glendon became the highest ranking female advisor to the Church when she was named president of the Academy.
Governor Mitt Romney On The Nomination Of Mary Ann Glendon
Boston, MA Today, Governor Mitt Romney issued the following statement on the nomination of Mary Ann Glendon, the Harvard University Learned Hand Professor of Law and Co-Chair of the Romney for President Advisory Committee on the Constitution and the Courts, to be the next Ambassador to the Holy See:
"I commend the President for nominating such a distinguished American to be our next Ambassador to the Holy See. She will serve our country with the honor and dignity we expect from those who represent our country's values abroad. While I may have lost her trusted counsel to our campaign, our country has gained an extremely gifted Ambassador. I wish her the best as she prepares for her confirmation and service in the Vatican."
More info on this strong conservative supporter:
Glendon was a member of President Bush's Council on Bioethics, advising the president on moral and ethical issues related to technological developments in bioethics. She has frequently criticized radical feminism and defended the Church's position on life issues.
"The challenge of the church is to keep abreast of changes, but not dumb down its doctrine to the spirit of the age," she said in an earlier interview with the AP. "Contrary to popular stereotype, John Paul II has done a great deal to put women in many responsible positions."
In her capacity as a legal specialist in the field of bioethics, Glendon has been a leader in the Catholic opposition to same-sex "marriage," and has acted as an advisor to Governor Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.
