Just for clarification... The Mormon bible (King James Version is what we use) is the same KJV text as everyone else. This passage is from the Book of Mormon, (posted right before this) It is considered scripture to the LDS just as the bible is, written by different peoples than those that inhabited the Middle East.

The quotes are not from the "Mormon Bible", which is essentially a "standard" Bible.

The quotes are from the "Book of Mormon" a supposed further testament of Jesus Christ - an entirely separate book from the Bible which is given more weight by most Mormons than the Bible itself. Add that to the "Pearl of Great Price" and "Doctrine and Covenants" and you have the Mormon "scriptures".

Hope this helps out your understanding a bit.
