I’m far from being a liberal but I like to cook and I occasionally shop at Whole Foods.

I like their produce department because it has a very wide selection of very fresh produce and not all of it is organic.

They also have a large section devoted to imported specialty cheeses that, outside of Wegman’s, I can’t find anywhere else.

I occasionally like to cook for family and friends and entertain. One of my favorite dishes is Paella and I can’t find saffron or chorizo sausage at my local grocery store so I go to Whole Foods.

Well, you ought to know that such blanket statements about who shops at what store is totally wrong.

I’ve already seen someone else post that they shop there. I’ve been in there when I had one nearby. One in Portland and one in Dallas. I haven’t noticed any around Tulsa, though.

They’ve got good cheese. Of course, any store could sell the same types of cheeses, but I don’t see that they do. They’ve also got a great little salad bar that I filled up on. They had some selections of things there that you wouldn’t normally find elsewhere.

I never did “all” my shopping there, but only a select few items — those things that I wanted to get there and weren’t at other places.

As you can see, from some of the comments here, you’re totally wrong...

Dis them if you must but they are successful because
they have great selection and quality in all departments.

I wouldn’t buy everything there, but they do have quality stuff.
