Fred Thompson says he doesn’t like to campaign, not that he won’t campaign. The fact that he is hard at work campaigning tells us that he is putting personal comfort aside in order to serve others. A reluctant politician is a politician with integrity.
Thompson’s detractors are in a difficult position. They want to go negative but they can’t say too much because they know that if Thompson gets too much attention, people will notice that he has no significant negatives.
Fred Thompson is the one candidate who is campaigning the way he wants, not the way the MSM wants. He will be the one candidate who does much better than expected.
