Puts national security on the top of the list.

Which moves Rudy back to the top of the list -- but also brings all the Senators running into the top too - McCain, Thompson, Clinton, Obama, Edwards.

Clinton and Edwards really do not have the lifelong experience to deal with this. Rudy has 9-11 but not much else.

I think this moment really could be a boom for McCain and Thompson if they can get out and sound Presidential AND INFORMED on this.

Puts national security on the top of the list.

This demonstrates that we cannot let our guard down again (like pre-9/11)by allowing our politicians to divert us to domestic matters over national security.

Every Democrat running for President must be formulating their "blame Bush" statement right now.
