Polls rarely ask the right people the right questions.
Polls are very misleading. Questions can be manipulating simply by the choice of response given by the pollster.
I have had several telephone polls over various issues and candidates. Never have I felt that the questions, nor the answer choices, really reflected my overall opinion.
Yet the pollsters take their responses and proclaim the unabridged gospel truth.
Gnats!
The MSM is scared of Fred. They do not want a true conservative. They so far have not found dirt on Fred. But I guarantee when he does surprise the pundits with a superior showing, the attacks will follow.
No, there is a juvenile streak in all of us.
Ignore those posters who can't use substance to support or refute a candidate. Treat their opinions as those of children.
Christmas was great.
The toppper was checking in here last night and seeing some badly needed zotting had taken place.
Perfect ending to a perfect day!
“President Clinton comes to mind. He happens to be good looking, but the worst leader possible for our country.”
I’ll never understand women. BJ Clinton, good looking? He’s an obese hillbilly communist who married a shemale.
You can add Giuliani to that list.
Huckabee reminds me of a slick travelling tent preacher.
i would consider attacking his positions wrong-headed but at least could respect the poster’s views. it is beyond hypocritical to attack appearance when we routinely ream Dems for botox/surgery.
You know, a while ago, I may have resigned myself that if Mitt were the nominee, I’d hold my nose, pray for my soul, and pull the lever. But after witnessing the screwball Mittwitts on FR, there is no way I’d vote for a candidate that attracts so many crybaby, pants-wetting, punk b!tch whiners. I’m not saying all Mitt supporter are like this. But a good number here on FR are a few fries short of a happy meal.
He is accustomed to coming from behind, so it is silly to think he’d drop out. it is far more likely an endorsement than anything else. hope so.
ditto for me. It’s Fred or bust for me.
Fred needs fair treatment in the mainstream media, he’s not getting it because he has the potential not to equal Reagan, he has the potential to exceed him.
Where do you think Fred would be if he was treated like McCain in the media, or Hillary?
In order to support Fred Thompson people must learn about him on their own, the media keeps him from being visable. I’ve noticed the lack of coverage of him on Cspan too, compared to the time given to the other top tier candidates.
***Fred needs to get out there and be more visible.***
1. The 13% who support Romney are not conservatives.
2. The 13% think they are conservative but hold liberal positions.
3. The 13% are conservatives but have another agenda that is more important to them.
I have a thin skin?
It’s got nothing to do with me. It’s your sleazy attack on a candidate’s wife.
I think so too.
I still believe Rush is going to break his own rule and endorse a candidate during the primaries. Depending on how Fred does in Iowa, I would expect a Rush endorsement not long after. Of course, I’d prefer he do it before.
“Ill never understand women.”
By the time you understand women, you have probably become one.
An excellent, romantic, classical Christmas. Very nice...much love.
” 3. The 13% are conservatives but have another agenda that is more important to them.”
Fear!
It’s the ‘anybody but Hillary’ attitude.
Nothing ‘conservative’ about it.
The good news is that many newspapers are now noticing Fred- just in time for the Iowa vote.
