"One of the first things he said was not how awful the tragedy was, it was, `Now we're going to get big government.'"

Nice job excluding what Paul really said. Dondero made this up because he's a bitter staffer who Paul fired.

And then you went on. "If elected president, Paul says he would abolish public schools, welfare, Social Security and farm subsidies."

You're really disingenuous, you know that? Paul never said this either. He has always said there would be a transition period for SS and those who are on gov't assistance, and public schools should be returned to the states. Yes, he's in favor of eliminating farm and corporate subsidies. Apparently, you have a problem with that. I don't.

(Paul Leaves the door open for a third party run.)

Your words, not Paul's. He said "99.99%" that he won't. He doesn't like to deal in absolutes. That's just the way he is.

You'd make Goebbels proud.

When asked if he fired him, Paul said - QUOTE - "Yes, no. Well what is it? The staffer said he quit and Russert reported it as that. Paul can't say because he said - "YES, NO"

It is in the interview. Russert asked him about it and Paul tried to deny it. Russert told him it was part of his 1988 platform. Keep drinking th kool aid because it was in the interview. Paul tried to ignore the abolishing of public schools and danced around it.

Ohhhh! "He doesn't like to deal in absolutes, that's just the way he is."

So it must have been a DIFFERENT Ron Paul being interviewed by Russert last Sunday that said the following:

MR. RUSSERT: So if Iran invaded Israel, what do we do?

REP. PAUL: Well, they're not going to. That is like saying "Iran is about to invade Mars."
