For Huckabee to come out and say without hiding or compromising that he is a Christian and a preacher is an impediment now days...look at the media, Hollywood, the left and the whole culture’s anti-Christian bigotry; is all over the place. So for him to come out and unabashedly speak of his Christian values is almost insane….to me it says a lot about the man’s principals and integrity for he is willing to take the heat for what he believes.
I have to disagree.
Huckabee is a Christian and a pastor/former pastor. For him to hide or compromise that would be absurd and far worse. Any republican is going to be torn up by the media regardless.
If he denied his values, he would still be an also-ran. It’s pushing those values that have drawn him up (I think temporarily) to where he is. Did you see the ad he ran? It was the worst sort of pandering... using Christ to advance his election chances.
I am not impressed.
