If I show up in their threads to bash their candidate they might have a case but the geniuses seem to have a desperate need to come here to claim we bash their candidates.
I'm not here to bash anybody. Hunter is a good man. I acknowledge that. I just think it's an interesting subject to discuss, why this good man is going nowhere.

Some want to blame the press. Other's want to blame certain syndromes.

But here's a question: Hunter's been in all the debates, why hasn't his support in opinion polls gone above 1%. It costs nothing to say to a pollster "I support Duncan Hunter". You're not giving up your vote. You're not "wasting" your vote. If you watch Hunter in the debates (and millions of Republicans have) and you're polled, and you think he did a good job, you would certainly say to the pollster: "I like Duncan Hunter".

But only 1% of the people are saying that, even after all the debates.

Why?

You can't blame the press or any "syndromes" for that.

That's a big assumption not based on any fact, especaily considering no vote has been taken!

Hunter's been in all the debates, why hasn't his support in opinion polls gone above 1%.

If you watched the debates then you also should have realized they have put him at or near the end podium and is one of the last candidates ask a question. One debate he was not asked a question until 28 minutes into the debate after the media perceived front runners had been asked at least two questions. The facts about the press ignoring Hunter are there even if you choose to deny them.

...you would certainly say to the pollster: "I like Duncan Hunter".

Actually, in every conversation where I find someone who has heard of Duncan Hunter (and yes, HEARING of him is important), the response I get is "Duncan is clearly the best candidate but he doesn't have a chance so I'm supporting..."

See tagline for my response.

This is just a guess mind you, but I think that Hunter’s one great failing is his dourness. He’s not a bright and happy fellow. Most of the other candidates are much better at putting on the phony Tony Robins informercial face, and apparently, it sells.
