If you had to distill conservatism in one sentence what would it be?

I should just say "I'm not going to raise my hand". However, I might say, "Protection of individual rights and liberties while limiting the power of government".

Conservatism is believing in and working to conserve the constitutional, republican form of government established by the founding fathers.

It has nothing to do with "social" anything.
