I missed the Fox & Friends segment this morning but watched him earlier on CNN...the anchorwoman was asking him if he would run as a third-party candidate—pretty much urging him to do so—if he doesn’t get the Republican nomination. Of course Paul denied he had any intention of doing that (since that would have hurt his chances of gaining Republican votes in the primaries). It’s not hard to figure out why CNN would like to see a third-party candidate drawing away votes from the Republican nominee.

The thing is though he would not draw any votes away from the Republican nominee. He is a blame America first white flag waving coward who is intent on losing the WOT. I find it hard to believe he will pull any votes from a Republican. It is the democrats that like that type of candidate.

I think Ron Paul would be a putsch if not a net negative for the rats if he runs 3rd party.

Dr. Paul has promised his wife that he will only run as a Republican. So of course, he’d deny any intention of running third-party.
