Your posted photo is propaganda worthy of Joe Goebbels. Hitler did not bring fascism to Germany "carrying a cross" but as the head of a secular "national socialist" party. He openly spoke and wrote of his anti-Christian feelings and admired Islam. Here are two items to to counter the Leftist canards, concerning Fascists and Christinity, that you and Ron Paul have bought into
"Had Charles Martel not been victorious at Poitiers—already you see the world had already fallen into the hands of the Jews, so gutless a thing Christianity!—then we should in all probability have been converted to Mohammedanism, that cult which glorifies the heroism and which opens up the seventh Heaven to the bold warrior alone. Then the Germanic races would have conquered the world. Christianity alone prevented them from doing so."

Adolf Hitler
Transcripts of Hitler's conversations made under the supervision of Martin Bormann (before end of War) published in the UK as Hitler's TABLE TALKS 1941-1944

"Hitler usually concluded this historical speculation by remarking "You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japansese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"

Albert Speer, Nazi Germany’s Minister for Armaments
Inside the Third Reich, chapter 7

Obviously, history should have taught Ron Paul and his Leftist fellow travelers that Fascism would come to America promising Socialism and admiring Islam.

I think Dr. Paul is largel a nutcase, but my take on this topic relating to his most recent comments may be a bit more intuitive.

Paul is referencing the so called "Huckaboom" that is being largely fueled by the MSM. But it's not all the MSM. Huckabee has become skilled in the use of populism to get elected. He did it in Arkansas under my watchful gaze and I know him like a favorite book.

I see the Christian right, with the notable exception of Arkansas residents flocking to Huck like some sort of Conservative savior. It's actually pretty horrifying to watch. It reminds me of the mental picture I have of lemmings falling off a cliff.

I would suggest that those many folks who have suddenly switched their candidate list around and put Huckabee to the top of it to poll the Arkansas residents on this forum before they make a fatal error. It could be said that the error is not the first related to Arkansas.

Dr. Paul is pointing the finger at blind allegiances formed by like minded Christians in the political realm. They tend to identify with words and ignore deeds, often following blindly.

Dr. Paul sees this and as crazy as he is, he does have a valid point.
